Revealing Your Eggs
Edward Dron
In a previous post, I discussed how easter eggs can be used to generate buzz and traffic. However, the problem with easter eggs is that, by their very nature, they are hidden. So how do you get the ball rolling?
In addition to message boards and your friends there are a number of websites you can use to distribute the message. The following sites are completely about easter eggs:
E Eggs
A massive library of eggs in things you use and see everyday such as DVDs, software, movies, music, and even books.
DVD Easter Eggs
Like the URL states, it’s strictly deals with DVD’s.
Egg Heavan
Listing of virtual easter eggs found in everyday popular media products such as Google and cell phones.
Hide This Thing
This new kid on the block is trying to create a community based around easter eggs. They even want to create a common visual easter egg language.
